i'm working on a shawl pattern design, using fingering weight bamboo/wool blends from yarnia.
these blends are such a smooth, comfortable joy to work with. crocheting with stranded yarn that isn't plied can be a little tricky at first, but once you get the hang of it the extra effort is really worth the distinctive colorways you can create.
yarnia has a fantastic array of knitting patterns available for sale, but as of now they don't have any crochet patterns. i'm hoping to help change that in the near future...
