Getting ready for holiday shopping

hey there! i realize it's been a while since i've shared an update with you. work and family have been keeping me on my toes, and things are going well.

my partner and i are developing new designs for small furniture items and household accessories to release in 2011. we've taken a break from selling at the craft market scene this season, but you'd better believe i'll be out shopping at some of them! here in portland there are at least a couple of events each weekend from now till the holidays.

however, the Life Adorned online shop will be open for the shopping season! i have an inventory of items ready to ship (hats, mittens, earrings, bracelets...) that will be appearing in the shop throughout the next week. stay home for Black Friday and shop in your pajamas with me!


for those of us in the US: happy Thanksgiving! i hope your holiday is great. it's one of my favorite meals. this year, my contribution to the family dinner is a cranberry pear sauce from this Women's Health magazine recipe and pumpkin pie (from a real pumpkin - not the can!) from this recipe (thanks, Karen!).

we had round 1 of the holiday (his family) on Sunday and both were a hit! round 2 (my family) is on Thursday. yay for a whole week of turkey!
